Haterade turned two on Saturday, which means this newsletter has officially aged out of its babe-like innocence and into its unruly toddler years.
I celebrated by eating 12 hot dogs in my living room. More on that in a Regular Post later this week—a collaboration with my pal Andrew Janjigian over at Wordloaf that’s been brewing for a while.
But for now, I wanted to Give Thanks to everyone who’s subscribed to Haterade, shared a post with friends, or emailed me with grim warnings about my life choices. That’s #engagement, baby.
AND THERE IS A FUN NEW WAY TO ENGAGE! Die-cut Haterade stickers, ready for all of your light vandalism needs, are now available. All you have to do to claim one is email me your mailing address. If you want to toss me a couple bucks to cover postage, that’d be swell—Venmo is here, PayPal is here—but I don’t want that to be an issue for anyone who really wants one.
And finally, in honor of The Holiday, I’m linking to one of the first Haterade posts I ever wrote, on leaning into the mediocrity of Thanksgiving.
See you at the next tantrum.
I’m always so happy when a new post gets emailed to me. It’s like when an old friend drops by out of the blue, but in the pleasant way, not the anxiety-inducing way.
I like stickers. 👍😃
